- Remedial Massage | Joint Venture Health
Remedial Massage Personalised and holistic hands-on treatment for the purpose of pain relief, recovery, relaxation and day-to-day body maintenance. BOOK YOUR APPOINTMENT CALL (07) 3205 8698 TO BOOK Remedial Massage at Joint Venture At Joint Venture, we offer Remedial Massage Therapy to assist with both tension relief, sports recovery, ongoing niggles and generalised relaxation. Our therapist provides treatment for multiple chronic pain and musculoskeletal conditions, as well as non-specific aches and pains. A remedial massage appointment differs from physiotherapy, as clients receive dedicated hands-on massage treatment for the relief of muscular (soft tissue) aches and pains. Your massage therapist may also recommend some stretches or advice to help manage these concerns as part of your ongoing care. Typically remedial massage utilises multiple soft tissue manipulation techniques such as stretching, trigger point therapy and open hand techniques, coupled with a relaxing environment to release stress, tension and pain. Massage can be applied at varying degrees of firmness to suit all patients. Private health rebates are available with HICAPS at Joint Venture. Your appointment will consist of a short discussion with our therapist regarding your history and current concerns. This is then followed by relevant assessments before determining a treatment plan together that has been tailored to your needs. Please Note: To be able to deliver services in a sustainable way, all massage therapy appointments will require a non-refundable deposit of $50. Appointments can be rescheduled up to two times, but no-shows, cancellations or frequent re-bookings will result in forfeit of your deposit fee. Online bookings are encouraged, but are not confirmed until a deposit payment has been made. Our friendly reception team will contact you after booking to arrange payment.
