With over 10 years of experience, Jamie-Lee Gavaghan is a highly skilled physiotherapist specialising in musculoskeletal and women’s health physiotherapy. As Principal Physiotherapist at Joint Venture Allied Health Clinic, she leads a multidisciplinary team while providing evidence-based, patient-centred care.
Jamie-Lee has extensive expertise in treating complex musculoskeletal conditions, pelvic health concerns, and chronic pain. She is also passionate about mentoring junior physiotherapists, fostering their clinical growth through structured training and support.
She believes in a hands-on, holistic approach to treatment that addresses all aspects that contribute to a presentation, and will work alongside you to achieve the best outcome that keeps you moving in the meantime.
Beyond the clinic, Jamie-Lee is a proud mother of two young children and an avid sports enthusiast, playing Oztag, tennis, and training at Fitstop. She is deeply passionate about supporting women—whether it’s through rehabilitation, empowering them in their health journey, or balancing the demands of career and motherhood.

Benjamin (Ben) Sanderson
Physiotherapist
Ben graduated from Australian Catholic University in 2021, with a strong foundation in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and sports physiotherapy. He has a particular interest in sports rehab and falls prevention, and has pursued additional training in dry needling and manual therapy to further enhance his ability to treat both acute injuries and chronic conditions.
Outside of work, Ben is passionate about staying active, playing volleyball and golf. Ben believes in a holistic approach to recovery and is dedicated to creating personalised treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals, whether they’re athletes or looking to improve their overall mobility and safety.

Ethan Jones
Physiotherapist
Ethan is one of our friendly Physiotherapists you can see at our clinic. Graduating from Australian Catholic University in 2021, Ethan has completed further development of his Physiotherapy skills delving into specialised fields including Physiotherapy for people with a disability, chronic pain management in both adult and paediatric clientele, neurological walking and running retraining, and dry needling therapy.
When Ethan is not treating, you are likely to find him spending his time cooking, running, or playing/watching basketball.
Ethan provides high quality treatment in different settings including in the clinic, the community, the gym, or through Hydrotherapy, all designed to best suit your needs, improve your function and your quality of life.

Reece
Physiotherapist
Reece is a passionate new graduate physiotherapist with a strong interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. Driven by a desire to help people move better and feel stronger, Reece enjoys working with individuals of all activity levels, from everyday aches to sports-related injuries. With a background in competitive sports himself, Reece brings a relatable and practical approach to rehab and recovery.
Currently completing a Pilates course, Reece is expanding his skill set to offer tailored, low impact exercise sessions that complement rehab and promote long term stability and strength.
Outside of the clinic, you’ll find Reece staying active on the footy field or playing social Oztag, which fuels his understanding of injury prevention and performance. Reece is committed to providing evidence-based, personalised care to help his clients get back to doing what they love.

Angela Wang
Physiotherapist
Angela is a friendly and enthusiastic new graduate physiotherapist who completed her studies at Griffith University. With an interest across all areas of physiotherapy, she loves working with a wide range of clients to help them move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing the things they enjoy.
She takes a personalised, evidence-based approach to treatment, combining hands-on therapy with practical exercise programs that fit into real life and support long-term results.
Outside of the clinic, Angela keeps active with gym sessions and reformer pilates, developing a strong appreciation for strength, control, and quality movement. When she’s not working, you’ll likely find her soaking up live music and good vibes at a music festival or unwinding by the pool with a book.

Caitlin Brown
Exercise Physiologist
With a passion for improving health and well-being, Caitlin is a highly skilled and dedicated Exercise Physiologist with 4 years of experience helping individuals of all ages achieve their exercise and health goals. Holding a Bachelor Degree in Exercise Physiology from QUT, Caitlin specialises in creating personalised exercise programs that are safe, effective, and tailored to each individual’s needs.
Throughout her career, Caitlin has had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients with various cardiovascular, neurological, musculoskeletal and metabolic clinical presentations. Caitlin also works with clients from all funding types including DVA, WorkCover, NDIS, Private Health Funds, Home Care Package and EPC referrals. Caitlin's approach is client-centered, ensuring that each person feels supported, empowered, and motivated throughout their journey.
Outside of work, Caitlin loves to go camping, attend pilates and spend time with her family and friends. Caitlin is constantly seeking to expand her knowledge through continued education and professional development to stay at the forefront of evidence-based practices within Exercise Physiology. Caitlin is passionate about helping all clients to achieve their goals.

Cameron (Cam) Booth
Exercise Physiologist
Cameron is one of our friendly Accredited Exercise Physiologists. He completed his studies at the Queensland University of Technology, with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology in 2022. Cameron’s passion for exercise stems from his representative involvement in basketball and volleyball, participating as a player, coach, and referee.
Cameron has a keen interest in neurological, musculoskeletal, and mental health conditions, and believes exercise is an integral part of balancing a healthy social and physical life. His core values are focused on patient-centered communication and motivational interviewing skills, that establish professional working relationships to assist clients in achieving their goals and the best possible results.
Cameron has enhanced his knowledge through completing a Tai Chi course to help improve health and prevent falls. He likes to spend his spare time playing basketball, going to the beach, travelling, and catching up with friends and family to play board games.

Morgan Smith
Exercise Physiologist
Morgan is one of our caring Accredited Exercise Physiologists. She graduated from Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Distinction). Morgan’s passion for exercise has stemmed from personal experience undergoing many musculoskeletal injuries from playing basketball for several years.
Morgan is a great listener and believes when working with an Exercise Physiologist it is a collaboration ensuring the best outcome. She is a motivated individual excited to share how exercise can be beneficial for your physical and mental health. Morgan believes in a holistic approach to exercising. She has further developed her skills in pain management and the gut and microbiome to ensure the best outcome is achieved for each client. Morgan is particularly interested in musculoskeletal, neurological, cancer and mental health conditions.
In her own time, Morgan likes to spend time playing sport, camping and catching up with her family and friends.

Julianne Gardner
Clinical Neuropsychologist
Dr. Julianne Gardner is a Clinical Neuropsychologist who completed a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of Queensland. She has worked in a variety of Government and Community settings since 2003. She has worked in private practice since 2004.
Dr. Gardner provides clinical assessment and therapy to children, adolescents, and adults and is a Certified Triple P Provider. She is an Associate Member of the Australian Psychological Society and specialises in the following areas:
- The management of mood and anxiety disorders (including trauma) in children, adolescents, and adults
- Disability, rehabilitation, and return to work
- Cognitive assessments for adults
- Learning assessments for children and adults
- Triple P positive parenting
- Weight management

Jae Kim
Podiatrist
Jae graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatry (Honours) from Queensland University of Technology in 2020. He has a strong interest in musculoskeletal conditions, particularly foot, ankle, and lower leg pain, helping patients manage these issues through foot orthotics, manual therapy, and dry needling. He also enjoys general foot care, ingrown toenail management (including minor surgical procedures), and paediatric lower limb concerns.
With a background in research on footwear and its impact on children, Jae values an individualised, evidence-based approach to treatment. He focuses on providing practical, effective solutions that align with each patient’s needs, ensuring they receive the right care without unnecessary interventions.
Jae is committed to improving mobility and foot health, ensuring that each patient feels confident in their treatment choices and receives care tailored to their needs.

Angela (Ange) Gale
Podiatrist
Angie graduated from Queensland University of Technology in 2021 with a Bachelor of Podiatry. She is a dedicated and compassionate Podiatrist with a keen interest in general nail care and diabetic assessments. Angie is passionate about providing high-quality foot and nail care to enhance her patients' overall well-being, as well as creating a welcoming and positive environment where every patient feels heard and valued.
Outside of work, Angie can be found spending quality time with her family and friends, or living her best rockstar life touring with her band.

Jayson Dela Pena
Podiatrist
Jayson graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatry from the University of Newcastle in 2020. He specialises in general nail care, diabetic assessments, offloading, and orthotic therapy.
With extensive experience in both the public and private health sectors, Jayson has a strong background in wound care, pressure ulcer prevention, and managing the effects of diabetes on the lower limbs, including vascular and neurological aspects.
He is also well-versed in general foot care, providing comprehensive treatment for a variety of foot conditions.

Jess Polglase
Remedial Massage Therapist
Jess graduated from Evolve college to obtain her diploma in Remedial Massage Therapy as her second qualification in the health industry.
Having worked for several years in a clinical role, Jess wanted to undertake a more holistic and hands-on approach to healing. Jess uses her knowledge of pathophysiology as well as the musculoskeletal system to bring treatment that is grounding for her patients.
Jess often works alongside our Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy team to manage our clients in a multidisciplinary approach.
When she isn't at work, she is likely playing or watching some form of sport or spending time with her ever loving Staffy.

Emma Holden
Allied Health Assistant
Emma successfully completed her Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance studies at Onfit Training College in 2020 and has been working as an Allied Health Assistant since then. Prior to this, she gained valuable experience as a receptionist in an Allied Health Clinic.
Emma has a keen interest in falls prevention and a broad range of clinical presentations. She is passionate about building strong relationships with her patients and supporting them in achieving their goals.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with her daughter, visiting the Redcliffe market, and practicing pilates.

With over 15 years of management experience across hospitality and retail sectors, Mathew brings strong leadership, organisation and people-focused skills to our allied health team. Coming most recently from the high-paced, client facing environment of hotel management, Mat has developed a deep understanding of customer service excellence, team leadership, and efficient operational systems.
Mathew is passionate about learning, supporting clinicians, and helping create a welcoming, well-run environment for clients and families. He is committed to ensuring every client experience is positive, professional, and supportive from the very first point of contact.
Outside of work, Mathew enjoys spending time with his dogs at the river, entertaining friends at his countryside property, and building Lego creations to add to his impressive collection.

Milliana (Millie) Ingram
Receptionist
Milliana is a recent addition to the Joint Venture team, bringing her experience in retail and hospitality to support the Reception team. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at the University of Queensland, with aspirations to pursue medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, playing sports like touch football and Oztag, and fun fact—she met Owen Wilson at a BP when she was five and once suffered a triple compound fracture, which sparked her interest in medical field.

Michelle (Shell) Usher
Accounts and Compliance Officer
With over 20 years of experience in administration, accounts, payroll, and customer service, Michelle is a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional. She is passionate about delivering excellent customer service, ensuring compliance, and streamlining financial processes. Working remotely, she brings strong organisational skills, accuracy, and a commitment to efficiency in all aspects of accounts management.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time at the beach and cherishing moments with her grandkids.

Natalie (Nat) Zofek
Administrative Assistant
Nat is a new addition to the Joint Venture Health team, bringing a wealth of experience in health administration. She is also a qualified dental nurse and is passionate about health, fitness and wellbeing. In her spare time she likes to read, go to the gym and run around after her little boy.
